Harbourside Western Elevation Painting
Prior to painting high pressure wash-down preparations, repairs & low sheen top coat paint applications were required to be applied to the masonry service alcove walls, masonry walkway awning soffits, lower masonry & refrigeration panelling walls, refrigeration panelling façade walls, upper CF sheet fascia’s and associated steel capping, masonry support columns, upper masonry façade walls & slab edges all starting from the main switchboard service cupboard down to the Hard Rock Café corner.
Gyprock & Villaboard repairs were required to replace the damaged entry awning soffits including skim coat repairs, spot prime & mat top coat paint applications.
Sanding preparations, spot prime & gloss top coat paint applications to the Gloria Jeans, ard Rock Café, Hive Café, Gas Valve pre-finished metal windows, King Pin Pre-finished metal windows & access doors, Glass Block metal surrounds, perforated steel panels and associated support framework, service doors & frames, loading dock area metal service pipes.
The program includes for access equipment to reach the higher surfaces including a 45ft Diesel Knuckle Boom Lift (OH&S) and 26ft Diesel 4 x 4 scissor lift (OH&S).
Also required were permits from Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority for footpath occupancy and minor road occupancy to stand plant/crane.
