Surface preparations prior to painting included stain block spot primer coats, crack repairs, removal of disused wall bolts, grinding, sanding and cleaning of the existing black metal access stairwell.
A low sheen top coat was applied to the concrete ceiling, concrete walls and associated pipes/conduit with a semi-gloss paint applied to the plant room access doors & frames. The rooftop plant room concrete floors was covered with a fine non-slip aggregate.
In addition to the painting we supplied and installed a new metal cover plate to seal existing vertical cable guard, new concrete bunded walls to the tape area in “U-Shape” format and new Galvanised metal surround to the wall mounted air-ventilation grill.
Craftwork has been undertaking various painting programs for the Parramatta City Council for several years now, during that period they have consistently delivered on all there promises and are now listed as preferred painting suppliers for the Council.
